About All Access LAX

All Access LAX was founded in 2018 by former pro lacrosse player Drew Petkoff with a mission to forge a better future for youth through unity, lacrosse and culture.

“During my childhood, I had the opportunity to attend camps and clinics to get ahead in sports. As I got older, I realized that this was a privilege that not every kid had. I continued to grow and eventually reached the professional level, but that thought stayed with me. In the back of my mind, I always wanted to start something to help young athletes that don’t have quite as much access,” shared Drew Petkoff.

All Access LAX operates out of the Walton County Boys and Girls Club in Monroe, Georgia to introduce lacrosse to kids in grades 3 - 8 making the sport accessible to Walton County youth who previously had no access to it. The name “All Access” embodies the program’s commitment to give young athletes as much access to every part of the game as possible – not only the equipment, but the skills training, coaching, and support that’s necessary for an athlete to take it to the next level.

Coach Drew Petkoff shares, “Lacrosse in this area lags a bit behind other areas, but we think we can make some leaps and bounds pretty quickly as long as we eliminate the barriers, like cost of training for our athletes, many of whom come from under-served families in our community.” All Access LAX currently has two Bruins teams, a fall team and a winter team, based out of the Walton County Boys and Girls Club. They compete in the Gwinnett County Lacrosse League.

“Based on how hard the kids work, we try to give some of them some extra opportunities to travel and play at a more competitive level,” shares Coach Drew Petkoff. In August 2019, All Access LAX sponsored several Bruins team members to complete on the Junior Swarm team in the Jr. NLL tournament in Toronto, Canada. Several also played on the Atlanta Revolution BOXLA team, going on to compete at Nationals in Maryland. “Our Bruins players were really big contributors. One of our players scored four out of seven goals in the championship game.”
